Australian Open 2025: 89.8 million hours viewed (+10.2%) on Nine's channels in Australia

The 2025 edition of the Australian Open, played at Melbourne Park in Melbourne (AUS) from Sunday 12 to Sunday 26/01/2025, generated 89.8 million hours viewed on the channels of the Australian private media group Nine Entertainment (+10.2% vs 2024), according to Tennis Australia, organiser of the Grand Slam tournament, on 29/01/2025.

Among the other figures released by Tennis Australia:
• 13.07 million people were reached (audience reach) by coverage of the tournament on Nine in Australia (+2% vs. 2024);
• the number of hours of the tournament viewed in Germany (on Eurosport and RTL Deutschland) and Italy (on Nove and Eurosport) increased by 23% and 17% respectively - Jannik Sinner (ITA) - Alexander Zverev (GER) was the draw for the final of the men's singles tournament;
• 150 million views were recorded on the tournament's YouTube channel, and "more than 127,000 people" subscribed to the channel during the competition;
• 1.7 billion impressions and 1.1 billion views were generated on the Australian Open's social networks.
