Cosm: interest in expanding the broadcasting of shared reality events in Europe

"I get calls daily from everywhere in Europe. You look at calls from China, the Middle East, Japan. Australia is banging down our door. There's an opportunity to bring these venues globally, and we're looking to figure out what's the best path to do that," said Jeb Terry, CEO of the technology and entertainment company Cosm, to the US financial news channel CNBC on 05/02/2025.

Cosm allows people to watch sporting events in "shared reality" via "an experience which bridges the virtual and physical worlds through Cosm's pioneered technology and 87-foot diameter LED domes." The company currently has two complexes in the USA, in Los Angeles (California) and Dallas (Texas), and plans to open two more in Atlanta (Georgia) and Detroit (Michigan) in 2026.

Cosm has forged partnerships with various leagues and broadcasters in the United States to offer live sporting events: WWE, UFC, TNT Sports, ESPN, Fox and NBCUniversal. The start-up recently raised $300m from various investors, including Stan Kroenke, owner of Arsenal FC (Premier League) and the Los Angeles Rams (NFL).
