Premier League: £2.84bn paid to clubs, from £175.9m (Man City) to £109.7m (Sheffield) in 2023-24

The Premier League is redistributing £2.848bn (€3.416bn) in broadcasting and commercial revenues to the 20 clubs that took part in the 2023-24 English top flight, according to the league in its Annual Report on 06/02/2025. This amount is up on 2022-23 (£2.781bn/€3.335bn). Each Premier League club receives an average of £142.2m (€170.5m).

Manchester City FC, 2023-24 Premier League winners, top the league table in terms of revenue from broadcasting and commercial rights, with £175.9m (€210.9m). Tottenham Hotspur FC (£164.6m/€197.4m), fifth in the 2023-24 season, are ahead of Aston Villa FC (£162.4m/€194.7m) in the Premier League revenue table, despite the Birmingham-based team finishing fourth at the end of the season.

This is due in particular to the amount paid out in respect of "awareness", which takes into account the number of live broadcasts in the United Kingdom on Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Amazon's Prime Video platform (28 for Tottenham, compared with 22 for Aston Villa).
