NFL: a regular season game to be held in Dublin (Ireland) for the first time in 2025

The National Football League will hold its first regular season game in Dublin (Ireland) in 2025, announced the NFL on 07/02/2025.

This will be the second time that an NFL game will be played in the country, after a first pre-season game in 1997. The event will be organised in partnership with the Government of Ireland, Dublin City Council and the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), which owns Croke Park (82,300 capacity), where the game will be played. The Pittsburgh Steelers have also been named as one of the two franchises that will participate in the game.

"The full matchup including opposition, date and kickoff time will be announced when the 2025 NFL schedule is revealed this spring. In addition to the NFL International Games, the league is committed to growing the game at every level on the Island of Ireland, engaging with fans year-round through partners, programmes and initiatives," added the North American league.
