Rugby: Dominic McKay (SCO) re-elected for a second term as EPCR chairman until June 2028

Dominic McKay has been re-elected chairman of European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) for a second three-year term until June 2028, announced the governing body of the Investec Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup tournaments, on 11/02/2025.

The Scot was "unanimously invited" by the EPCR's executive committee and general assembly to continue as independent non-executive chairman. He had previously been appointed non-executive director and interim chairman of the EPCR on 21/10/2021 (following the departure of England's Simon Halliday), before being confirmed as permanent chairman until the end of the 2024-25 season on 13/05/2022.

"During his first term, McKay undertook an executive chairman role guiding the organisation through the end of the Covid period and re-energising the governance and executive teams at EPCR. With his recent appointment as CEO at the Scottish Events Campus, he will undertake the chair role in a non-executive capacity."
