Italy/Serie BKT: Spezia Calcio acquired by FC32, Andrea Corradino new chairman

FC32 Global Holdings Inc, an American group founded by Australian Paul Francis, has become the owner of Spezia Calcio (Serie BKT) after buying out the Platek family (USA), the club announced on 07/02/2025.

The group is a "collective of more than 80 investors including former top athletes and focuses on developing the potential of players". FC32 also owns two other european clubs: Cobh Ramblers FC (Irish 2^nd division) and SKN St. Pölten (Austrian 2^nd division).

Local lawyer Andrea Corradino, a member of the Lega Serie B board of directors, has been appointed chairman of a new board of four other members:
• Paul Francis, vice-chairman;
• Andrea Gazzoli, managing director (he already held this position);
• Charlie Stillitano (executive chairman of Relevent Sports), director;
• Federico Mari, director.
