M6 Group: a turnover of €1.311bn (-0.3%) and net profit of €173.1m (-27%) in 2024

The French private free-TV group M6 posted a turnover of €1.311bn in 2024, down 0.3% on 2023 (€1.315bn), according to results published on 11/02/2025.

Operating profit amounted to €232.5m (down 23.9% on 2023; €305.5m) and net profit to €173.1m (down 27% on 2023; €237.1m). Programming costs came to €518.7m, compared with €502.6m in 2023 (an increase of €16.1m year-on-year), "reflecting the broadcasting of Euro 2024, investment in content under the streaming plan, and savings at the end of the year demonstrating the flexibility of our model in response to fluctuations in the advertising market", said the Group, whose operating margin came to 18.5% in 2024, compared with 22.9% in 2023.

"With an audience share of 12.8% in 2024 (down 0.2 points on 2023), the M6 group's free-to-air channels (M6, W9, 6ter and Gulli) are stable with the general public. However, their performance in the 25-49 age group has been impacted by the broadcast of the Olympic Games on public channels.
