Spain: Cadiz CF (2^nd division) targets Nasdaq (USA) via its new "Nomadar" subsidiary

"Cádiz CF (LALIGA Hypermotion) is launching its Nomadar subsidiary, which is expected to be listed on the Nasdaq (New York Stock Exchange, USA)," announced the Spanish club on 11/02/2025. The Cadiz (Andalusia) club is the "majority owner of Nomadar", alongside Peter Moore, former CEO of Liverpool FC (Premier League).

The operation, led by the American company Clear Street (financial services) and which still has to be approved by the American market regulator, aims to "strengthen the club's global projection and financial solidity, ensuring that its growth remains in line with its identity and avoiding its majority control falling into foreign hands," said the club. Its majority shareholder (80%) is the investor group "Locos por el Balón S.L.", which includes Manuel Vizcaíno, president of Cadiz CF, and vice-president Rafael Contreras.
