"Each stadium naming is a response to a well-defined strategy. There is a group strategy based on a common foundation, but also a local strategy, which evolves according to the context and specific issues. This can be linked to themes such as inclusion, diversity, CSR and many others," said Fabrice Michel-Villaz, Head of Strategic Olympic & Sport Business at Allianz France, on 12/02/2025.

The executive spoke at the closing session of the event ”From Name to Impact, The Power of Naming" organized by the interprofessional organisation of sports economy players Sporsora at the Tour Allianz One in Puteaux (France), the headquarters of Allianz France.

In terms of naming, Allianz has placed its name on eight stadiums worldwide, including the Allianz Riviera in Nice (Alpes-Maritimes) and the Allianz Arena in Munich (GER). The German insurance company is also engaged with the IOC as the "exclusive provider of insurance solutions and services to support the Olympic Movement."
