Bundesliga: New Balance to succeed Castore as equipment supplier of Bayer 04 Leverkusen from 2025-26

New Balance is to become the equipment supplier of Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga) "on a long-term basis" from the 2025-26 season, announced the club on 13/02/2025. The American brand will spend between €6-7m a year with the club as part of this partnership, according to German media outlet Kicker.

New Balance is the early successor to Castore, which was initially contracted to Bayer 04 Leverkusen for 2022-2027 under an agreement signed on 10/02/2022. The club, which won the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal in 2023-24, terminated its contract with the British brand after it experienced major delays in restocking Bayer 04 Leverkusen's merchandise, according to Kicker.

New Balance will supply the shirts for all the club's teams, including the men's and women's first teams, as well as the youth teams. "The athletics department of TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen (women's handball team) will also be kitted out by New Balance with immediate effect," added the club.
