Ligue 1 TV rights: "The DAZN-LFP dispute is a matter of concern for the Federation" (P. Diallo)

"The dispute between DAZN and the Ligue de Football Professionnel is a matter of concern for the Federation, which has already shown its support for professional clubs by waiving debts for this season and next, and by assisting with the introduction of VAR in Ligue 2 next season. Today, a number of clubs are in serious cash flow difficulties. We need to look beyond the current dispute. Since the stoppage of the championship during the Covid period, French professional football has been faced with a series of difficulties, which mean that the crisis is structural," said Philippe Diallo, president of the Fédération Française de Football, on 13/02/2025.

The FFF president, who was re-elected on 14/12/2024, spoke at a press briefing organised after the meeting of the Federation's executive committee.
