Asics: sales of €4.1bn (+18.9%) in 2024, including a record €1bn in the EMEA market

The Asics group posted sales of ¥678.5bn (€4.14bn) during the financial year 2024 (01/01 to 31/12/2024), up 18.9% (in yen) compared to 2023 (¥570.4bn/€3.7bn), announced the Japanese equipment manufacturer on 14/02/2025.

Asics' operating result rose sharply by 84.6% to ¥100.1bn (€611.7m) over the period. The brand also reported a sharp rise in net profit (¥80.8bn/€389.8m), up 80.8% versus 2023.

The Kobe-based group generated its highest ever sales in the EMEA region, reaching the €1bn mark for the first time (¥179.3bn/€1.09bn), up 21.2% in yen and 12.7% in euros. In 2024, Asics "remained the number-one premium performance running brand in Europe according to Circana point-of-sale data for 2024 ('Road Performance Running' category greater than and equal to €90 in the France, Germany, Italy and Spain markets)," said Asics EMEA. The EMEA region remains the largest market for the equipment manufacturer, ahead of Japan (¥166.4bn/€1.01bn) and North America (¥135bn/€825.13bn).
