Kylian Mbappé-Paris Saint-Germain dispute: "Is the FFF aware it's sending out the wrong message?"

"Is the FFF, the supreme body of French football, aware of the wrong message it is sending out not only in this specific case, but more generally - and above all - to all those involved in our sport?" asked the UNFP in a press release published on 19/02/2025.

The professional players' union has reacted to the decision of the Fédération Française de Football's higher appeals committee, which declared Kylian Mbappé's appeal to it “inadmissible” in the dispute between the player and Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's). The French international, who now plays for Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports), is claiming a total of €55.4m in unpaid wages and bonuses from his former club.

The LFP's legal committee initially ruled in favour of the French international in September 2024, before the joint appeals committee confirmed this position just over a month later, calling on the Parisian club to pay the sums deemed due.
