IOC: TCL (CHN) succeeds Panasonic (JPN) as worldwide audiovisual equipment & home appliances partner

TCL Technology, a Chinese manufacturer of electronic equipment including television sets, has become a worldwide partner of the International Olympic Committee for two Olympiads (Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032), i.e. between 2025 and 2032 (eight years), announced the two parties at a ceremony held in Beijing (CHN) on 20/02/2025. TCL thus becomes a partner of the IPC and the Paralympic Games.

TCL, which is already involved in sports sponsorship, notably with FIBA and the DFB, joins the IOC's "TOP" (for "The Olympic Partner", created in 1985) sponsorship programme alongside 11 other partner companies, including the Chinese groups Alibaba (e-commerce) and Mengniu (dairy products, via Coca-Cola). TCL has been awarded the "home audiovisual equipment and home appliances" category, which includes televisions.
