IOC: AB InBev extends as a worldwide partner via its alcohol-free beer Corona Cero until 2032

Belgian brewery group AB InBev has extended as a worldwide partner (member of the "TOP" programme) of the International Olympic Committee for a further Olympiad, from 2029 to 2032, announced the IOC on 24/02/2025. This partnership now covers the Alps 2030 (winter) and Brisbane 2032 (summer) Olympic Games.

This renewal comes a year after the first partnership between the IOC and the Leuven-based company was made official, covering the 2024-2028 cycle. This was the IOC's first agreement with a group operating in the alcohol sector. Like the initial contract made official on 12/01/2024, this renewed partnership concerns only the Corona Cero brand of alcohol-free beer, global sponsor of the Olympic Games. The agreement also includes marketing rights for the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the Paralympic Games.

While this partnership does not therefore involve the AB InBev group's alcoholic beer brands such as Budweiser, Stella Artois, Leffe, Hoegaarden or Jupiler, an exception will be made for the Los Angeles 2028 Games, during which the "superior light beer" Michelob Ultra…
