"We focused on the Lega Serie A of tomorrow, on what we will have to do in the coming years. A number of committees have been set up, some of which already existed, while others have been created from scratch," declared Ezio Simonelli, president of Lega Serie A, at the end of the League's general assembly in Milan on 24/02/2025.

"We have decided to maintain the TV Rights Committee and the Marketing Committee as they were already organised. We have also set up an important Competitions Committee, which is responsible for studying the regulations governing competitions and all issues relating to the 'National Observatory of Sporting Events' (violence, racism, etc)," added the man who has been president of the Italian Professional League since 20/12/2024.

"The Legal Affairs Committee will also be maintained, but will become the Regulatory Issues Committee, extending its scope to include many other issues such as taxation and the budget," explained Simonelli.
