DAZN: Chus Bueno (ex-NBA) appointed CEO of new "DAZN Basketball" entity

Chus Bueno has been appointed CEO of DAZN Basketball, the UK-based group's new business unit dedicated to developing the streaming platform's basketball offering, announced the platform on 26/02/2025.

"At the helm of DAZN Basketball, Bueno will be responsible for designing and executing the strategy to establish DAZN as the world's premier destination for basketball fans. The creation of DAZN Basketball consolidates DAZN's long-term partnership with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and integrates DAZN's existing domestic and international basketball offerings under a new business vertical," explained the streaming service.

Chus Bueno was previously managing director Iberia (Spain & Portugal) for the US agency Legends (October 2022 to February 2025). He was the NBA's vice-president for Europe (August 2010 to October 2022), then also for Africa and the Middle East (May 2014 to October 2022). Chus Bueno was also executive director and secretary general of the Spanish Basketball Federation (December 2006 to August 2010).
