2025-26 Ligue 1 calendar: Matchday 1 on 15, 16 & 17/08, transfer market to open early on 01/06

The 2025-26 Ligue 1 McDonald's season will begin on the weekend of 15, 16 and 17/08/2025, according to the Ligue de Football Professionnel following its board meeting on 27/02/2025.

Other dates to remember from the general calendar published by the LFP for Ligue 1 include:
• Matchday 10: the only matchday scheduled during the week, on Wednesday 29/10/2025;
• Matchday 16: the last matchday of the 2025 calendar year, on the weekend of 14/12/2025;
• Matchday 17: resumption on the weekend of 04/01/2026;
• Matchday 34: the weekend of 16/05/2026.
