Real Sociedad: Reale Seguros will not extend Estadio Anoeta naming rights contract beyond 2024-25

Spanish insurance company Reale Seguros will not be extending its naming agreement for the Estadio Anoeta (San Sebastian, ESP), home of Real Sociedad (LALIGA EA Sports), beyond the 2024-25 season, announced the two parties on 27/02/2025.

The brand has given its name to the "Reale Arena" since the 2019-20 season, in return for an annual fee of €1.5m. In doing so, it became the first company in the insurance sector to acquire the naming rights to a stadium in the Spanish top flight. Reale Seguros, a partner of the Basque club since 2012, has also been the club's sleeve sponsor since the 2017-18 season. All these commitments will come to an end on 30/06/2025, after 13 seasons of partnership.

Only four LALIGA EA Sports clubs have a naming rights contract for their stadium in 2025-26, as of 27/02/2025: FC Barcelona (Spotify), Club Atlético de Madrid (Riyadh Air), RC Celta (Abanca) and Valencia CF (a group of seven ceramic companies).
