Liverpool FC: a turnover of £614m (+3.3%) & pre-tax loss of £57m in 2023-24

Liverpool FC (Premier League) posted a turnover of £614m (€721m as of 31/05/2024) for the 2024 financial year (from 01/06/2023 to 31/05/2024), an increase of 3.3% compared with the 2023 financial year (£594m/€686m on 31/05/2023), announced the club on 28/02/2025. LFC also posted a pre-tax loss of £57m (€67m), compared with a loss of £9m (€10.4m) in 2022-23.

While commercial revenue rose from £272m to £308m (€362m) and matchday revenue from £80m to £102m (€120m) in 2023-24, TV rights revenue fell to £204m (€240m), compared with £242m in 2022-23. This decrease is due to the reduction in the amount received from UEFA. The club was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Europa League in 2023-24, compared with a run to the Round of 16 in the Champions League in the previous season.
