BasicNet (Kappa): revenues of €409.2m (+3.1%) & record EBITDA of €61.1m (+5.1%) in 2024

BasicNet, an Italian distributor and parent company of equipment manufacturer Kappa, has recorded revenues of €409.2m for the 2024 financial year (01/01 to 31/12/2024), up 3.1% on 2023 (€396.8m), announced the group, which published its preliminary results on 12/02/2025.

• The group's direct sales amounted to €346.8m (+4.2% vs 2023), or 85.7% of total sales, while royalties from licensed distributors (€60.9m; -2.1%) accounted for nearly 15%.
• The group's EBITDA reached a new record high (€61.1m), up 5.1% on the previous year (€58.1m).
• The company's net debt fell by €1.8m to €90.8m (€92.6m in 2023, compared with €93.7m the previous year).

Total sales generated by the group's licensees over the period amount to €1.178bn, up 3.2% on 2023 (€1.14bn), of which €864.7m came from "aggregated brand sales" (or 73.3% of the total), up 5.4%, and €313.8m from the "aggregated sales of sourcing centers" (or 26.7% of the total), down 2.3%. These total sales are still lower than those achieved in 2022 (€1.273bn).
