• The DFL is extending its partnership with US company Greenfly to deliver digital content to the league's "Social Media Matchday Feed" (SMMF), enabling broadcasters to obtain Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga content during matches.
• The Issa Hayatou International Foundation has called on the Confederation of African Football, FIFA and the IOC to exclude Rwanda from all international sporting competitions because of the crimes committed by its army and its M23 allies in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
• The Jupiler Pro League, which has 16 clubs in 2024-25 and a play-off format at the end of the season, will be increased to 18 teams and run as a regular season from 2026-27, announced the Pro League at its general assembly on 27/02/2025.
• Matthew Benham, owner of Brentford FC (Premier League) "will be transferring his shares in Brentford FC to a newly formed holding company, subject to the approval of the Premier League," announced the club on 28/02/2025.
