Pedro Proença, born on 03/11/1970 in Lisbon (POR), was elected president of the Federaçao Portuguesa de Futebol until 2028, at the body's general assembly held at the Cidade do Futebol (in the town of Oeiras, near Lisbon) on 14/02/2025. He will officially take office on 24/02/2025.

Gabriele Gravina was re-elected president of the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio until 2028 with 98.7% of the votes cast (481,084 out of 487,500) in the first round of voting during the FIGC general assembly held at the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria (hotel) in Rome (ITA) on 03/02/2025. Gravina was the only candidate in the running.
