France: a 2.2% audience share for La chaine L'Équipe in February 2025, its "best month ever"

La chaine L'Équipe recorded an audience share of 2.2% in February 2025 (+0.4% versus February 2024), the "best month ever" for the French free DTT channel, according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie, released by the channel on 03/03/2025. This surpasses the previous record set in January 2025, with an audience share of 2%.

The channel also posted its best-ever month among men aged 25-49, with an audience share of 3.9% (+0.9% on February 2024). It also recorded an all-time high audience share of 2.7% among those aged 25 to 49 (+0.6%).

A total of 35.1 million viewers watched the competitions broadcast on the channel in February 2025. These included the Biathlon World Championships, the U20 Six Nations Tournament, the 2024-25 Copa del Rey and the 2024-25 Coppa Italia Frecciarossa.
