"The Lega B represents the cornerstone for the innovation that football needs. We're going through a major crisis that needs to be tackled not by changing a rule, but by a genuine cultural revolution," said Gabriele Gravina, president of the FIGC, during the Italian professional league's general assembly in Milan (ITA) on 04/03/2025.

"The presence of the president of the Italian Football Federation is a demonstration of our close relationship with our League, which is reaffirming its greater desire to make its contribution for the good of football," said Paolo Bedin, president of the LNPB (Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie B) since 16/12/2024.

"We are hoping for a different political season from the past one, one of unity, dialogue and collaboration, the Lega B is ready to play its part in the forms, ways and competences it has at its disposal. The primary objective is making the clubs and the system more sustainable from an economic and financial point of view," added Bedin.
