With a turnover of €807.3m for the 2022-23 financial year (from 01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's) have revenues (excluding transfers) 17.7% higher than those of Liverpool FC (Premier League, €686m), as the two clubs prepare to face each other in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie on Wednesday 05/03/2025 (kick-off at 21:00 CET) at the Parc des Princes in Paris (France).

In 2022-23, Paris Saint-Germain had a wage bill of €621m, compared with €383m for their Merseyside opponents. Liverpool FC posted a net loss of €8m at the end of that season, compared with a net loss of €109.8m for PSG.

While Paris Saint-Germain's financial results for 2023-24 are not yet available, Liverpool FC posted a turnover of €721m at the end of the season, a loss of €51.2m and a wage bill of €402m.

Liverpool FC have an estimated value higher than that of Paris SG in 2024, according to the American business magazine Forbes. The English club, 4^th in the ranking, is valued at $5.37bn, compared with $4.4bn for PSG, in 7^th place.
