Spain: RFEF launches several initiatives to mark International Women's Week

The Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol is rolling out a number of initiatives "to promote equality and highlight women's rights in sport and football" as part of International Women's Week, announced the RFEF on 04/03/2025.

The campaign, launched to coincide with International Women's Day (08/03), has a number of features:
• the Federation's social networks have now turned pink;
• a banner at the RFEF headquarters (Ciudad del Fútbol, near Madrid) featuring women (M. Tomé, coach, A. Putellas, two-time Ballon d'Or winner) "who are already key figures in both national and international football, serving as role models for boys and girls";
• a video promoting the campaign entitled "Of course you can!" and featuring several Spanish internationals, "a statement aimed at encouraging women, young girls, and anyone with a passion for football."
