FIFA Women's World Cup: USA to host in 2031 & the United Kingdom in 2035

"US Soccer, in partnership with Concacaf and its members, will complete the bid process to host the 2031 FIFA Women's World Cup," announced the US Soccer Federation on 06/03/2025. The country has previously hosted the tournament in 1999 and 2003.

This announcement comes the day after the FIFA Council meeting at which the bidding regulations for the 2031 and 2035 editions of the Women's World Cup were approved. "Taking into account the countries that have previously hosted the tournament and that Brazil will be hosting the upcoming edition in 2027, the FIFA Council took the following decisions:
• FIFA Women’s World Cup 2031: FIFA member associations affiliated to CAF and Concacaf are invited to bid for the 2031 edition; and
• FIFA Women’s World Cup 2035: FIFA member associations affiliated to CAF and UEFA are invited to bid for the 2035 edition."
