UEFA: €8.2bn in domestic TV rights revenue for over 700 European clubs in 2023

Over 700 top flight clubs recorded €8.2bn in TV rights revenue in 2023 (excluding UEFA), up 2.5% on 2022 (€8bn) but down 8.9% on 2021 (€9bn), according to UEFA in its annual "European Club Finance and Investment Landscape" report published on 07/03/2025.

Premier League clubs generated a total of €3.22bn in TV rights revenue in 2023, compared with €1.374bn for clubs in LALIGA EA Sports, €1.092bn for those in the Bundesliga and €1.094bn for Serie A Enilive clubs. Ligue 1 McDonald's clubs posted a total of €502m in TV rights revenue in 2023, less than half as much as Serie A clubs.

"30 leagues distribute more than €1m in TV rights revenue among their clubs, with the most balanced distributions in England, Finland and Iceland," adds UEFA.
