Manchester City FC: the women's team training facility to be inaugurated in 2025-26

"The club is underway with building a new purpose-built training facility for Manchester City Women (Barclays Women's Super League) at the club’s training centre, ”City Football Academy”," announced Manchester City FC (Premier League) on 11/03/2025.

"The project, which has a total value of up to £10m (€12m), is due to open in 2025-26 and it marks the latest chapter in the Club’s continued investment into best-in-class facilities for the team. Once complete the facility will feature a hydrotherapy area, a high-performance gym and a circular dressing room designed to enhance player development."

"It has also been tailored to meet the specific needs of the team, with a range of First Team Multi-Disciplinary experts, including members of the first team squad, heavily consulted during the planning stage. The 17,000 square feet (1,600 square meters) building has also been designed to expand over time as the team continues to grow," added the club. Manchester City had announced having applied to Manchester City Council for planning permission to develop this facility on 11/01/2024.
