City Football Group: a record turnover of £933m (+6%) & net loss of £91.9m in 2023-24

City Football Group (CFG), a holding company investing in football assets (professional clubs, infrastructure, innovation), has posted record revenues of £933.1m (€1.101bn at 30/06/2024) for the financial year 2024, from 01/07/2023 to 30/06/2024, up 6.4% on 2022-23 (£877.1m / €1.024bn), according to the annual accounts (available to download) published by the owner of Manchester City FC (Premier League) on 10/03/2025.

Nearly 77% of these revenues (£715m/€843m) came from the English club's business, in which CFG has a 100% stake. Among the other main clubs in which the Group is a majority shareholder:
• Girona FC (LALIGA EA Sports) generated £59.6m (€70.3m)
• New York City FC (MLS) £46.5m (€54.8m);
• ESTAC Troyes (Ligue 2 BKT) £11.2m (€13.2m);
• Melbourne City FC (Hyundai A-League) £8.5m (€10m).

City Football Group posted a net loss of £91.9m (€108.4m), compared with a deficit of £112m (€131m) in 2022-23. The Group had 2,460 employees at 30/06/2024, compared with 1,703 a year earlier.
