With a turnover of €1.073bn for the 2023-24 financial year (from 01/07/2023 to 30/06/2024), Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) have revenues (excluding transfers) 2.7 times higher than those of Club Atlético de Madrid (LALIGA EA Sports, €395.1m), as the two clubs prepare to face each other in the second leg (2-1 win for Real Madrid on first leg) of their Champions League Round of 16 tie on Wednesday 12/03/2025 (kick-off at 21:00 CET) at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid (Spain).

In 2023-24, Real Madrid had a wage bill of €413m, compared with €233m for their opponents. Florentino Pérez's club posted a net profit of €15.6m at the end of that season, compared with a net benefit of €0.7m for Atlético.

The game will take place at a stadium now know as the "Riyadh Air Metropolitano".
