IOC: Allianz (insurance) extends its contract as worldwide partner until the Brisbane 2032 Games

Allianz, a German insurance company, has extended its global partnership with the International Olympic Committee for an additional Olympic cycle (four years), running until 2032, the IOC announced on 12/03/2025.

"As the Worldwide Insurance Partner, Allianz will support the Olympic and Paralympic Movements for an additional Games cycle, which includes the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games French Alps 2030 and the Olympic and Paralympic Games Brisbane 2032, uniting athletes and billions of fans in peaceful competition in the insurance company's 70 markets around the world," said the IOC.

Allianz has been the IOC's official insurer since 2021 and was initially committed until 2028. "Allianz manages risks, provides protection for organisers, participants and spectators, and supports athletes through mentoring and career opportunities."

Allianz remains one of the 12 partners in the "TOP" program launched by the IOC in 1985. In 2023, sponsorship deals generated revenues of $739.5m (€670m) for the IOC (with 14 brands involved), equating to an average annual contribution of €47.8m per…
