"Since its creation three years ago, on 24/04/2012, the Youtube channel of the FFF has managed to climb to the top spot amongst the national football associations of UEFA, both in terms of subscribers and number views," announced the FFF on 10/04/2015. The FFF had 105,000 subscribers and 33.1 million views on its YouTube channel on 13/04/2015.

This puts it ahead of federations such as the English FA (83,600 subscribers and 27.6 million views), the Dutch KNVB (5,600 subscribers and 2 million views), the Italian FIGC (44,100 subscribers and 13.2 million views) and the Spanish RFEF (4,300 subscribers and 2.294 million views), according to the accounts linked to the websites of the federations.

  • The German DFB does not have an official YouTube account, and most of its other social media accounts are linked directly with the German men's national team.
  • Globally, the FFF is second to only one national federation in terms of visibility on Youtube: the USSF (United States Soccer Federation).
    • The American Federation has 145,000 subscribers and has accumulated 89 million views on its page.
