Sailing: Kylian Mbappé shareholder and charity partner of France SailGP team

French international Kylian Mbappé has become a shareholder in the France team in SailGP, an international sailing competition, via Coalition Capital, the investment arm of his company Interconnected Ventures set up in 2018, said the two entities on 14/03/2025.

Neither the amount of this investment nor the percentage acquired by the Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) player, who also became the owner of SM Caen (Ligue 2 BKT) in July 2024 (see below), have been disclosed.

In parallel with this deal, Kylian Mbappé's association "Inspired by KM" (or IBKM) has become the official associative partner of the French team. Starting with the Los Angeles leg (USA) on 15 and 16/03/2025, "the Tricolores will fly the IBKM colours on the wing of their F50 catamaran."

The France SailGP team has two other partners: Accor (hotels) and Canal+.
