Sunderland AFC (Sky Bet Championship) wore a "unique crest" on Matchday 38 of the 2024-25 season, in order to "highlight the devastating effects of climate change" as announced by the club on Friday 14/03/2025, ahead of their match versus Coventry City FC (3-0 loss at the Coventry Building Society Arena, Saturday 15/03/2025).
