Liverpool FC (Premier League) - Newcastle United FC (Premier League), the final of the 2024-25 Carabao Cup (1-2), drew an average of 6.3 million viewers on the channels of the private free-TV group ITV and pay-TV group Sky Sports in the United Kingdom on Sunday 16/03/2025 (kick-off at 16:30 GMT, 17:30 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute BARB (Broadcasters' Audience Research Board) communicated by the EFL on 18/03/2025.

A peak of 7.9 million viewers was also recorded during the match, according to the EFL. "Millions more watched around the globe, with the match shown across 193 international territories," added the English Football League, organiser of the tournament.

In 2022-23, the final of the competition between Manchester United FC and Newcastle (2-0) drew an average of 3.79 million viewers, with a peak of 4.26 million on Sky Sports channels on Sunday 26/02/2023 (16:30 GMT), according to BARB. The audience figures for the 2023-24 final on Sky were not released.
