Ligue 1: a net profit of €16.9m for LOSC Lille & a €60.3m loss for Paris Saint-Germain in 2023-24

Nine Ligue 1 McDonald's clubs posted a net profit for the 2023-24 season, with LOSC Lille posting the best result at €16.9m, while nine others posted losses, including Paris Saint-Germain with the highest net deficit at €60.3m, according to the DNCG report dedicated to the individual accounts of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs published by the Ligue de Football Professionnel on 18/03/2025.

The 18 top-flight clubs posted cumulative revenues excluding transfers of €2.55bn, with an average of €141.7m in revenue, ranging from €37.7m for Le Havre AC to €807.9m for Paris Saint-Germain.

The total wage bill for the 18 teams was €1.86bn for the 2023-24 season, an average of €103.6m. 35% of the total wage bill was borne by PSG alone (€658.6m), four times more than the second-highest-paid team (Olympique Lyonnais, €161.9m), while Clermont Foot 63 had the lowest wage bill (€22.9m).
