Club Atlético de Madrid: Mahou San Miguel (beer) first partner of the future Ciudad del Deporte

Spanish brewer Mahou San Miguel has extended its partnership with Club Atlético de Madrid (LALIGA EA Sports) for a further ten seasons (2025-2035), announced the club on 24/03/2025.

The two parties have been linked for "more than 50 years," according to Enrique Cerezo, president of Atlético. As part of the extended agreement, the group continues to rank second in the Spanish club's sponsorship hierarchy, alongside 15 other brands.

Mahou also becomes the first sponsor committed to the future Ciudad del Deporte, a public-private project estimated at €300m and partly supported by the club, the first stone of which was laid on the outskirts of the Civitas Metropolitano on 02/07/2024. With a total surface area of 265,000 square metres, it will include facilities dedicated to the residents of the city of Madrid (an athletics track, two 11-a-side football pitches, four multi-sports pitches and four padel courts) and areas reserved for the club, including a training centre for the various teams, a building dedicated to performance, a mini stadium and several pitches.
