VfB Stuttgart (Bundesliga) posted a record turnover of €299.8m at the end of the 2024 calendar year, compared with €217.9m in 2023 (an increase of 37.6%), announced the club during its annual general meeting on 22/03/2025.

The German club also posted a record net profit of €15.4m, compared with a positive net result of €700,000 on 31/12/2023.

These records were made possible by:
• the club's participation in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League in 2024-25;
• an increase in home games and the marketing of the new Mercedes-Benz Business Centre, which led to an increase of €18m in revenue;
• sponsorship revenue, which rose by €9m;
• merchandising revenue, which rose from €10m in 2023 to €17m in 2024.

"This was offset by increased expenditure for the professional squad and match operations in three competitions, the implementation of necessary infrastructure measures and other necessary investments that had to be postponed in previous years," explained VfB Stuttgart.
