Atlético de Madrid: Google Cloud extends partnership to include the club's men's teams until 2026-27

Google Cloud, a US suite of cloud computing services, has extended its collaboration with Club Atlético de Madrid (LALIGA EA Sports) for a further two seasons until the end of 2026-27, announced the club on 26/03/2025.

"Atlético de Madrid and Google Cloud have reached an agreement during which our primary cybersecurity partner will provide a service to our men's teams, just like the service provided to the women's teams (Liga F) last season (2023-24)," explained the club. The partnership will also reinforce the two parties' "joint commitment to technological innovation" in sport.

"Since the beginning of this collaboration, we have worked with Google Cloud on innovative methods to improve our position when it comes to cybersecurity. We have made significant investments in the protection of our operational and fans' data through the use of Google Cloud's Backup and Disaster Recovery service, which ensures protection and rapid recovery of critical systems in the event of disruptions," added the club, which relies on cybersecurity to prevent online fraud, protect team performance…
