FC St. Pauli: new season tickets conditional on attending a minimum number of games from 2025-26

From the 2025-26 season onwards, FC St. Pauli (Bundesliga) will introduce a minimum quota for the use of season tickets, known as the 'no-show rate', which, if not met, will result in the loss of the season ticket holder's right of first refusal to re-subscribe for the following season, announced the club on 21/03/2025.

In 2024-25, the no-show rate for season ticket holders "is just under 5%, an improvement on 2023-24. Despite this positive development, however, it is striking that the no-show rate for season tickets is higher than that for single tickets, and this despite our repeated messages about the possibility of giving up your seat punctually if you are unable to attend, particularly thanks to the resale system integrated into our online ticketing system since 2018-19."

Due to the "limited capacity" of the Millerntor-Stadion (29,546 capacity), the club sees this decision as a response to an "injustice for supporters who might be interested in going to the stands when these seats are not being used.
