Chelsea FC: a turnover of £468.5m (-8%) & net profit of £129.6m in 2023-24

Chelsea FC (Premier League) have posted a turnover of £468.5m (€553m) for the 2023-24 financial year (01/07/2023 to 30/06/2024), down 8.6% compared to 2022-23 (£512.5m/€594m), announced the club on 31/03/2025.

Although the London club finished sixth in the Premier League in 2023-24 - compared with 12^th the previous year - and therefore saw an increase in TV rights revenue from the league, this income source fell by 27.8% (from £225.9m to £163.1m) as a result of Chelsea not participating in a European competition in 2023-24, despite having reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League in 2022-23.

Chelsea FC posted a net profit of £129.6m (€153m) on 30/06/2024, compared with a loss of £89.7m (€103m) twelve months earlier. This very sharp rise in net profit was made possible by "increased profit on disposal of player registrations and repositioning of Chelsea FC Women," explained the club. Chelsea also announced revenues of £198.7m (€234.4m) from the "disposal of subsidiaries". The club's women's team was sold by Chelsea FC Holdings Limited to its parent company BlueCo in May 2024.
