Nike, adidas, Puma and Under Armour are competing for the contract to be the kit supplier to the Chilean national team, revealed the newspaper La Nacion on 03/04/2015. The Chilean federation is currently under contract with the German brand Puma.

The four manufacturers all responded to the federation's tender, the deadline of which was 01/04/2015. The new contract will begin in August 2015 and will expire at the end of the 2018 season, covering the Copa America Centenario 2016 in the United States and the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Puma, which became the supplier to Chile in 2011, pays an estimated annual amount of €2.8m. Its contract expires at the end of the Copa America 2015, which will be held in Chile from 11/06 to 04/07/2015. The federation is hoping for €7m per year for the new contract, according to daily sports newspaper AS Chile.

  • The stars of the Chilean national team Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal FC, Barclays Premier League) and Arturo Vidal (Juventus, Serie A TIM) have individual contracts with Nike.
