Everton FC: a turnover of £186.9m (+8%) & net loss of £53.2m in 2023-24

Everton FC (Premier League) posted a turnover of £186.9m (€220.5m) at the end of the financial year 2023-24 (01/07/2023 to 30/06/2024), up 8.5% compared to 2022-23 (£172.2m/€199.6m), announced the club on 01/04/2025.

While three of the club's four sources of revenue were up, "other commercial revenue" was down £2.7m to £17m "due to the absence of a mid-season international tour - unlike the 2022-23 trip to Australia during the Premier League World Cup break."

The construction of the new stadium (see below) has had an impact on the club's financial results: the associated investment costs (£312.7m/€369m) have in particular contributed to Everton's net debt increasing to £567.3m (€669m), up sharply compared to the financial year 2022-23 (£330.6m/€383.2m).

In addition, the Merseyside club posted a net loss of £53.2m (€62.7m), versus a loss of £89.1m (€103.2m) the previous year, and a wage bill of £137m (€161.6m, versus £138.4m in 2022-23).
