US Soccer: Michele Kang's Kynisca Innovation Hub donates $25m to the Soccer Forward Foundation

American Michele Kang, owner of the Washington Spirit (NWSL), Olympique Lyonnais Féminin (Arkema Première Ligue) and London City Lionesses (Barclays Women's Championship) via her company Kynisca Sports International Ltd, will donate a further $25m (€22.8m) to US Soccer, as part of a deal in which the Kynisca Innovation Hub (KIH) will be integrated into the Soccer Forward Foundation, announced the North American federation on 04/04/2025.

"Soccer Forward focuses on enabling and equipping people, places and programmes to grow the game in communities across America and on delivering cutting-edge research, training, and guidelines to prove soccer's contribution to health outcomes in communities," said US Soccer following the announcement made by Michele Kang and JT Batson, CEO of US Soccer, at the SheBelieves Summit presented by Deloitte, a "professional development event" held in Los Angeles (California, USA) on the same day.
