Brazil: The Panamanian company Copa Airlines becomes a partner of São Paulo FC for 2015

The Panamanian airline Copa Airlines has become a partner of São Paulo FC (Brazilian Serie A) for the 2015 season, the announced club on 15/04/2015.

The contract is estimated at 4m reis, (€1.2m) for the 2015 season. The Copa Airlines logo was visible in the centre of the shirt of the "tricolores" for their game at Danubio (1-2) for the 2015 Copa Libertadores group stage match on 16/04/2015. The airline wants to put in place digital campaigns to activate its partnership.

Sao Paulo FC is still looking for a shirt sponsor for the 2015 season. Their rival Palmeiras receives an estimated 23m reis (€7.9m) per year from the Brazilian credit company, Crefisa, which will be on their shirt in 2015 and 2016.
