Intersport International Corporation: Tom Foley appointed CEO with effect from 01/07/2025

Tom Foley, current CEO of Go Sport (owned by Intersport France), has been appointed CEO of Intersport International Corporation (IIC, the umbrella organisation for all Intersport businesses) with effect from 01/07/2025, announced the Swiss sporting goods retailer on 10/04/2025. Foley will replace Steve Evers, who stepped down as CEO in January 2025.

"A strong advocate of collaborative governance and entrepreneurial leadership, Mr Foley comes into the role with a wealth of international experience in competitive markets and a deep understanding of the sporting goods industry," said the group.

Foley, who previously worked for Intersport as the group's general manager for its activities in the UK and Ireland (from February 2011 to September 2017), has been CEO of the Go Sport Group's activities in the Middle East (operated by the Qatari company Al Mana) since June 2023. On behalf of Al Mana Group, the executive was also responsible for the opening of the first NBA retail shop in the United Arab Emirates as well as the e-commerce platform for the North American League in the Middle East…
