Olympique Lyonnais: record 58,018 fans at Groupama Stadium for Europa League game vs Manchester Utd

58,018 spectators were present at the Groupama Stadium (Décines-Charpieu, Rhône) to watch Olympique Lyonnais' (Ligue 1 McDonald's) match versus Manchester United (Premier League) in the first leg of their 2024-25 Europa League quarter-final (2-2) on 10/04/2025, which set a new European Cup attendance record for the club. The 59,186-capacity stadium posted a 98% fill rate.

The club's previous record in a UEFA competition was set on 19/02/2019 in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie versus FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports), which drew 57,889 spectators.

However, OL's all-time attendance record in its stadium remains 58,230, when it hosted Paris Saint-Germain in the French top flight on 18/09/2022.
