EPCR: Jérémie Lecha (CEO of the FFR) to represent the French Federation & the RFU on the board

Jérémie Lecha, chief executive officer of the Fédération Française de Rugby since April 2024, has joined the EPCR board and "will represent the interests of the FFR and the Rugby Football Union (RFU, England)," announced the European Professional Club Rugby on 14/04/2025.

"He will replace Bill Sweeney, CEO of the RFU, who is stepping down after completing his four-year term on the EPCR board. Bill Sweeney will remain involved in the governance of the EPCR by joining the general assembly," explained the European body.

"Jérémie Lecha works daily on the development of rugby in France, with the aim of supporting the performance of the French men's and women's teams, as well as increasing the number of rugby players throughout the country," added the body. The executive joins Emmanuel Eschalier, CEO of the LNR, on the EPCR board.
